Sustainability: Self Sufficient Residential Cluster Development Project

This project endevours to develop a small self sufficient and sustaining five to seven home residential community that generates its own electricity through renewable sources, utilizes thermal passive solar design along side superior insulation techniques.

Short term goals:

Generate a master plan and project overview
Create grant applications
Seek out grant donors
Seek out eventual home owners
Locate a suitable property. Currently 22 acres in the Ogden Valley of mostly flat terrain with a year round creek for $599k

Long term goals:

Showcase successful systems to the public
Create a learning center to educate the public and kids
Create programs to promote available resources to interested people
Balanced sewage process system with grey water outflow
Net gain passive solar thermal systems
Net gain photovoltaic solar electric systems
Minimal road use, common transport system design

Design goals:

On site sewage processing system with grey water outflow and living pond
Utilize passive solar thermal designs
Utilize photovoltaic solar elecctricity designs
Utilize hydroelectric elecctricity designs
Minimal road use
Develop a common transport magnetic monorail system
